Welcome to Selink ("we", "our", "us", or "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you", "user"), and Selink concerning your access to and use of the Selink web application, browser extension, and associated services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Selink, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you must discontinue using our Service immediately.

To access core features of Selink, you create and authenticate an account through our secure identity provider (Clerk). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete account information.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities performed under your authenticated account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Selink.

You retain 100% ownership of all bookmarks, URLs, titles, descriptions, notes, custom tags, and categories ("User Content") that you create or save in Selink.

By storing User Content in Selink, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license solely to host, synchronize, process, display, and transmit your data as strictly necessary to deliver and operate the Service to you.

You warrant that your User Content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or violate any applicable laws.

When using Selink, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, fraudulent, or harassing purpose.
• Store, distribute, or share links leading to malware, spyware, phishing schemes, or malicious payloads.
• Attempt to probe, compromise, overload, or disrupt the integrity and security of our servers or database networks.
• Use unauthorized automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service or extract platform data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the Service without prior written authorization.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other users' private bookmarks or account dashboards.

Selink provides functionality allowing you to share specific bookmark categories either publicly via shareable links or privately with designated email addresses.

You understand and agree that any content you choose to share publicly is accessible to anyone with the link. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to distribute and share any links or content contained within your shared categories.

Selink provides free core features as well as optional premium plans that offer enhanced workspace limits, advanced AI features, and priority synchronization.

• Billing: Paid plans are processed through authorized payment merchants (such as Paddle). Recurring subscriptions are billed automatically according to your chosen billing interval (monthly or yearly).
• Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing cycle.
• Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated according to our merchant of record's refund policy and local consumer laws.

Selink acts as an indexing and organizational tool for external links across the web. We do not own, control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party websites, content, policies, or practices linked from your workspace.

You access external third-party links entirely at your own discretion and risk.

The Selink platform, including its software, interface designs, logos, artwork, icons, features, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Selink and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Selink strictly in accordance with these Terms.

We continually improve Selink to deliver better performance and features. We reserve the right to modify, update, temporarily suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with or without prior notice.

We strive for high uptime and reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service at all times.

You may stop using Selink and request complete deletion of your account and saved workspace data at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in activities harmful to Selink or other users.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SELINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REPUTATION ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

We may revise and update these Terms periodically. In the event of material changes, we will provide reasonable notice on our website or within the application prior to the updates taking effect.

Your continued use of the Service following any revisions indicates your acknowledgment and acceptance of the modified Terms.
